The Operator Challenge is a competition that tests heavy equipment operators on their skill, precision, and efficiency in completing various tasks. The first round of competitions will take place at Mustang Cat, where the winner will advance to the Caterpillar dealer competition for the U.S. title. The U.S. champion will then move on to the Global Operators Challenge at the 2026 Conexpo in Las Vegas, Nevada. There, they will compete against top operators from around the world for the title of Global Operator Challenge champion.
The Operator Challenge is open to anyone with experience operating heavy machinery and a passion for showcasing their skills. Competitors must be at least 18 years old to participate. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a skilled operator looking to test your abilities, this competition offers a chance to demonstrate precision, speed, and expertise. If you know how to operate a machine, you’re eligible to take on the challenge.
