What Sets Us Apart From The Competition?

Resale Value Overtime

Our value proposition is based on the belief that our customers will make more money with Cat® equipment than they would with our competitors’ equipment. Quality is a key component of that proposition because customers can only make money when their equipment is in operation. Our products tend to operate as part of a system – an excavator loading a truck or a wheel loader loading a hopper. So if one Cat® machine goes down, the customer’s whole operation could potentially go down.

There is no Caterpillar value proposition without quality products and quality service. No matter where our customers are located around the world, the expectation of quality is always the same. So for us, quality is the price of admission. Check out our resale value chart and see why Cat machines are considered a valuable investment that will keep your assets protected so that your only worry is to get the job done!

Machinery Performance

Machine controls play a significant role in choosing the right model. In addition to helping you achieve more precise handling, the right controls can have a considerable impact on your comfort level. Both of these machines include a self-leveling function as a standard feature, but the Cat® Intelligent Leveling system delivers additional advantages over the competition. With the Cat compact loader, you also benefit from a return-to-dig feature and work-tool positioner, helping you work more productively and reduce wear on your machine.

All Cat compact track loaders have more power. Our Cat® 299D3 has the latest Cat C3.8 DIT (turbo) engine — a 232-cubic-inch Tier IV emissions-compliant industrial engine with 98 horsepower. More power means more speed, and the Cat 299D3 can hit maximum forward and reverse speeds of up to 8.4 mph on smooth terrain, while the competition tops out at 7.3 mph. The Cat model also has almost 3 more gallons of fuel capacity to reduce time spent on refills.
